Exploring with Zapper

With everything being done on our phones these days, and our phones literally being the one thing we can’t go anywhere without, I thought that Zapper is the perfect app to fit into my life.

Zapper is a hassle free card payment alternative. I’ve been using Zapper for as long as I can remember, as it’s so fast and easy, and you never have to worry about the WiFi on the card machine not connecting or that dreaded “it didn’t work, let me try again” words.

The app takes a few minutes to download (which you can do here), put in your card information, and you’re good to go. All it takes is a scan of the QR code as the establishment, put in the amount and tip (always tip your sever, please people!), and you’re good to go.

The thing I love most about this nifty little app is that there’s no scares of someone skimming your card or finding out that secret pin one that no one is suppose to know about. If you’re a little weary of your phone getting into the hands of someone you don’t trust, you can add a pin to your Zapper account as well, giving you even more peace of mind. Basically, you don’t even need to take your card out when you have Zapper.

Zapper doesn’t stop at a payment app though, many establishments have free vouchers and loyalty cards as well, offering a voucher or discount when you’ve visited for a certain amount of times. These are also automatically applied when you pay, leaving one less thing to worry about.

I took Zapper out to some exploring at Spier. There’s nothing like a walk in the greenery after winter, and discovering the flowers blooming to make you appreciate nature so much more.

The Hoghouse is an absolute must when I go to Spier. PS: They have the best Pasteis de nata! And of course, they accept Zapper. So you can enjoy your meal and your beer, with a walk around in the bakery, ending the day off with a scan from Zapper and your bill is good to go. No need to look into your purse or your wallet, and trust me, you’ve definitely got your phone on you after taking those images in and around the winefarm.

Thank you Zapper for being that locally created app that gives me peace of mind when dining out. There’s no more looking for an ATM to stop at before exploring over the weekends or meeting clients for a cup of coffee.

**Disclaimer: Zapper sent me a voucher to use, however that does not change my honest review as I have been a long standing Zapper user before this as well.
